Ever had that great pic you took only to see it has a spot on it?. Here is a quick tutorial on how to save it.I will use paintshop pro for this.Have a nice boesemani aytinjo pic I took only to see the body has a white spot on it towards the tail.Plus a couple things in the pic I did not want there.i will only use the CLONE TOOL for this. no other enhancements.Pics below explanations
starting below- From the left tool list choose Clone.
On the top.i am using the shape (round) and size.Using scroll button on mouse adjusts the size of the circle after you click on pic
I am right clicking on a scale to the left of the spot.(adjust size of circle first) then left click to paste it over the spot.This was the closest match to the spot underneath. You can repeat undo until you get it the way you want it.
You will see 2 circles indicating left and right click.

Now starting from right doing the same thing.Seeing the color has changed under the spot I don't want to use the same scale.Keeping it close as possible to what is underneath.

Looks ok but still some white at bottom of scales. so I will reduce size and work on those.Always grab from area of fish that is the closest match.

now I will do the same to right matching the bottom part of scales there until white is gone. Doesn't have to be perfect. Once we back off from zoom looking at pic regular size will look untouched and restored.
Not bad...Hate that blue thing to the left of his tail. What is that anyway?. Lets get rid of that!
Using same steps I will clone some pieces of gravel to cover it.. Next 3 pics.

practice makes perfect and only takes a few minutes once you get the hang of it.Hope it saves you from tossing some of those great shots!
